The Medina Ajwa is our Beloved Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ favourite fruit and is considered to be the most sought after date in the world.
The Ajwa is mentioned in the Hadith literature and therefore holds a particularly high religious value.
The Safawi is chewy and mildly soft with a deep flavour. Sweet but not too much, with a subtle taste which reminds of coffee.
The aftertaste isn’t too sweet compared to other dates which makes it enjoyable to have more than once at a time.
The Medjool has a soft skin, fleshy with a fibrous texture. Considered one of the larger sized dates.
As the Medjool cures and ripens it turns from amber to a reddish-brown.
